PIPETTES

Pipettes are laboratory instruments used to accurately measure and transfer small volumes of liquids, typically in the range of milliliters (mL) or microliters (μL). They are essential tools in various scientific fields like chemistry, molecular biology, and medical research, where precise liquid handling is crucial for experiments and analyses.

Here’s a more detailed overview:

Purpose and Function:
  • Accurate Measurement:
Pipettes allow for precise measurement of liquid volumes, ensuring reproducibility and reliability in experiments.

  • Sample Transfer:
They are used to transfer measured volumes of liquids from one container to another, a common task in various laboratory procedures.

  • Solution Preparation:
Pipettes are vital for preparing and diluting solutions with specific concentrations.

  • Dispensing:
They enable the controlled dispensing of liquids into reaction vessels, plates, or other containers.

All Volumetric Pipettes are manufactured according to DIN ISO 648 Standards. These pipettes are calibrated to deliver (TD, EX) +20C degrees. Calibrated on a computerised machine before being rechecked by the quality control centre, printed in amber which is then fused into the glass, Grade A. Available in bulb or graduated. Pipette filler 50ml is available separately.
