THERMO-HYGROMETER DESKTOP

Thermo-hygrometers are used to measure and monitor both air temperature and relative humidity, providing valuable data for various applications. They are commonly employed in homes, offices, greenhouses, laboratories, and industrial settings to assess environmental conditions, maintain optimal humidity levels, and prevent potential issues like mold growth.

Key Uses and Applications:
  • Home and Office Environments:
    • Monitoring humidity levels to ensure comfort and prevent excessive dryness or humidity, which can lead to health issues or damage to property.
    • Assessing air quality to identify potential problems like mold growth, especially in damp areas.
  • Greenhouses and Agricultural Settings:
    • Maintaining optimal humidity for plant growth and development.
    • Ensuring proper preservation of produce and flowers by controlling moisture levels.
  • Laboratories and Industrial Facilities:
    • Monitoring temperature and humidity in sensitive experiments and processes to ensure accurate results and prevent equipment damage.
    • Controlling environmental conditions in HVAC systems and other industrial applications.
  • Building and Construction:
    • Assessing moisture levels in building materials to prevent damage and ensure structural integrity.
    • Monitoring humidity during construction projects to ensure proper drying of materials and prevent problems.
  • HVAC Systems:
    • Testing and calibrating HVAC systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and maintaining optimal temperature and humidity levels.
How Thermo-Hygrometers Work:
  • Hygrometer: Measures the amount of water vapor in the air, often displayed as relative humidity (RH), which is the ratio of the amount of water vapor in the air to the maximum amount it can hold at that temperature.
  • Thermometer: Measures the air temperature, typically in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit.
  • Combined Device: Thermo-hygrometers combine both a hygrometer and a thermometer into a single device, providing simultaneous readings of temperature and humidity.

The MT662 is a triple display low cost combined clock/alarm, temperature and humidity meter with a temperature range from -20°C to 50°C, and humidity range from 10% to 95%. The MT662 offers a “Comfort Zone” indicator which is displayed when the temperature is between 18°C and 22°C and the Humidity is between 45% and 65%.
