DEIONIZER

Deionizers are devices that remove electrically charged ions from water, producing deionized water for various applications where pure water is crucial. They are used in industries like pharmaceuticals, medical practices, electronics manufacturing, and laboratories where purity is essential for processes and products

Key Uses of Deionizers:
  • Laboratories:
Deionized water is used for preparing solutions, buffers, microbiological media, and in instrumental analysis and chromatography.

  • Radioelectronics:
It’s used for cleaning and flushing printed circuit boards and cooling 3D printers.

  • High-precision engineering:
Deionized water is essential for processes requiring the highest purity.

  • Medical and Pharmaceutical Industries:
Deionized water is used in medical treatments, tests, and sterilization, as well as in pharmaceutical production for sterile products and injectable solutions.

  • Electronics Manufacturing:
It’s used in semiconductor manufacturing and other production processes.

  • Food and Beverage Industry:
Deionized water ensures purity for production processes and product quality.

  • General Cleaning:
Deionized water can be used to clean surfaces, windows, and even in spot-free car washes.

  • Other Uses:
It can be used in aquariums, dehumidifiers, and for topping up lead-acid batteries.

The range of cartridge demineralizers are designed to produce small quantities of high purity water. Using the process of mixed bed ion exchange, the cartridge units provide water with conductivities of less than one microsiemen, and with flow rates of up to 3L/min.

No on site regeneration, with the need to handle acids and caustics eliminated. When exhausted simply change the resin. The conductivity meter provides an accurate indication of water quality.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE UNIT:

  1. Connect raw water inlet to inlet connection on DI Unit
  2. Collect Outlet water in preferred container while monitoring spec of water
  3. CD4 Conductivity Meter for readings
  4. To replace Resin-Unclip cartridge body, unscrew plug on top & empty exhausted resin
  5. Fill cartridge with new Resin 2L
  6. Screw plug of cartridge into place
  7. Connect raw water inlet to inlet connection on DI Unit
  8. Collect outlet water in preferred container while monitoring spec of water
